Susan founded How Does Your Garden Grow in 1997 to share her love of gardening and empower people with the skills and techniques to make the most of their outdoor spaces.
Susan has a biology degree from Amherst College and a Master of Science from the Center of Urban Horticulture at the University of Washington. She advocates for organic practices and sustainable gardening.
In addition to How Does Your Garden Grow, Susan creates and sells botanical jewelry with Olivie Botanicals, films educational videos for her YouTube Channel, and is also available to lead classes and workshops.
